I am an assistant professor in the Mathematics, Computer Science and Statistics Department at St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. I received a Masters of Science in Computer Science with a concentration in Computer and Communications Networks (CCN) in May 2002 and Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science in October 2010 at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Before coming to St. Lawrence University, I was a visiting assistant professor in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN.

My main areas of interest in computer networks include congestion control mechanisms, active queue managements, steaming and interactive multimedia on computers and mobile devices, and human computer interaction (HCI) with multimedia.
